Today is the Day...

Well good morning to all of you!! We have had the pleasure of being awake since 0345 am while all of you were tucked nicely in your cozy beds. Just a little bit jealous, but it's ok. Matt's brother Scott picked us up on time at 0450am to take us to the hospital for our 0515am check in. I am very grateful to him for sacrificing his sleep to support Matt and I. We arrived at the hospital on time only to do the "hurry up and wait" thing that hospitals make you do. He was wheeled up to the second floor surgery suite and we are now currently stationed in the CVICU waiting room. Surgery is scheduled to begin at 0730am so I will keep you posted.
